Mulan is a young woman of marriageable age, but is also a woman with a  free spirit and for this reason her family consider  her a disgrace for her culture.

Is the heroine who, disguised as a warrior, joins an all-male army.

  In the history Mulan disguises herself as a man  taking his  father place in the army. After fulfilling his military service, the Emperor offers the highest honors. However, Mulan doesn´t to continue in the army, and asks only a donkey to return to the parental home.
When her former fellow soldiers come to visit, they  surprised seeing her dressed as a woman.
